Is XML Catalog supported?

Hello,

Wondering if XML catalogs are supported in Gepsio...  For those who are not familiar with catalogs: it is a way to locally store all the schemas and a simple catalog XML file will redirect all the original schema URLs to local URLs. This will save lot of time during schema validation and other processing. In addition, XBRL can be validated and processed even on systems that are off limits to Internet (consider systems behind a firewall)

BTW, XML Catalog is a generic XML technology; not just for XBRL

How to write an XML catalog file: http://www.sagehill.net/docbookxsl/WriteCatalog.html

Thanks,

Venkat.

BTW, came across this XML Catalog library for .Net:   http://londata.svnrepository.com/xmlcatalog.net/trac.cgi/

Hopefully everything fits in; then it could be a simple integration!

Hello Venkat,

Gepsio does not support XML Catalogs at this time. However, since it is still in a "CTP", non-finished state, there is still time to add it later. Thank you for the suggestion!
