Creating XBRL Document

May 25, 2009 at 9:35 AM

Dear All,

Can we create an xbrl instance document using the library by referencing the taxonomy specification files. We want to create a dot net app using the library, that would create an xbrl instance document using the taxonomy file and database where the values are stored.

Hello vcsmails,

Currently, no. Gepsio is currently a read-only object model, and an already-existing XBRL document must be in place to use it. However, Gepsio is designed with document creation in mind, and I hope to add it in a future release.
